Senior-Principal Civil-Geotechnical Engineer - Tucson

SRK is seeking a civil engineer for a position in the Tucson office. The successful candidate will have:

• An undergraduate degree in civil engineering.  
• At least 10 years of engineering experience in stormwater design, and tailings construction and other earthworks structures and related appurtenances.  
• Effective communication, management and leadership qualities working in a team environment.  
• Establish and maintain client relationships.  
• Registration as a PE (or at a minimum eligibility for such registration).  

Preference will be given to Arizona residents. Individuals who do nothave legal residence status in the will not be considered. Thesuccessful candidate will perform work primarily related to the miningindustry, including civil aspects of design, construction, and closure.Knowledge of Arizona regulations such as the Aquifer Protection Permit program and AZPDES, as wellas federal environmental permit programs, is a plus. The position will includepreparing proposals and participating in marketing efforts. Strong writingskills are desired.

The successful candidate will be expected toestablish and maintain client relationships, and work in a team environment.This position requires strong networking and communications skills (written andoral), and sound interpersonal capabilities are therefore essential.
