Mid-Level Environment Consultant (Engineer or Scientist) - Elko, NV
We are seeking a Mid-Level Environmental Consultant (Engineer or Scientist), based in our Elko, Nevada office.
The successful candidate will consult on projects for North American and international clients, requiring travel. Assignments will include managing and undertaking studies related primarily to the mining industry, including: permitting for operations, reclamation and closure; and Specialist consulting for assignments such as due diligence assessments.
The following qualifications are required
- A post-secondary qualification in geology, geochemistry, engineering or environmental sciences
- At least 5 years of experience, preferably including permitting, operation and closure of mining facilities
- Demonstrated leadership and project management experience
- Preferably experience with mining projects in Nevada and a network of mining industry contacts
- Specialist consulting for assignments such as mine permitting and due diligence assessments.
As a consultant, the successful candidate will be expected to create and maintain client relationships and work in a team environment. Strong communication skills and interpersonal capabilities are essential.
