Senior-Principal Civil-Geotechnical Engineer – Saskatoon
We are seeking a Senior-Principal Geotechnical or Civil Engineer for a position in our Saskatoon office. The successful candidate will have:
- A post-secondary degree (Masters or higher) qualification in geotechnical or civil engineering
- Saskatchewan P.Eng. registration or the ability to obtain it
- At least 10 years of engineering experience, including investigation, design and construction supervision for earthworks and related appurtenances, preferably in a mining environment
- An understanding of project finance, including the requirements of preliminary economic assessments, pre-feasibility studies and feasibility studies for mining projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute high-level geotechnical expertise to projects based in Saskatchewan, elsewhere in North America, and abroad, and over time to grow his/her own geotechnical consulting practise within the broader team of like-minded professionals working under the SRK Global umbrella.
