Amy is a professional geologist with over 14 years of experience.  Amy specializes in the geochemistry of the environment as it pertains to geologic interpretation, mine waste characterization, and prediction of acid generation potential.  Over the past 12 years at SRK, Amy has been involved in various aspects of mine waste characterization programs, from sampling and supervision to test evaluation and interpretation. Her project experience includes site characterization and assessment, development and implementation of laboratory testing programs and evaluation of final closure options for a number of mining operations in Nevada, Idaho, California and Oregon.

In her current capacity as Senior Geochemist, Amy provides technical support and coordination of characterization, mitigation, and remediation projects concerned with the contamination of water and soil systems. She is proficient in the collection of groundwater, surface water, and soil samples, and is experienced with coordinating and conducting investigative events utilizing geoprobe, diamond core, reverse circulation, rotosonic, and dual rotary drilling techniques. She also has experience supervising monitoring well installations and abandonment.
