Cam has over 40 years of professional experience, most of which have focused on the geotechnical and hydrogeological aspects of mining, including the site selection, design, permitting, operation and closure of mine waste facilities.  He has assumed various roles, from project manager to technical specialist, on multidisciplinary teams responsible for the development, operation and/or closure of mines in northern Canada, the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia.  In addition, he has participated on SRK teams undertaking due diligence assessments and audits of international mining projects and, more recently, has been a member of several independent review panels involved with the design and construction of tailings storage facilities in the US and Mexico.

Specialisation: Geotechnical engineering and hydrogeology related to the investigation, design, operation and closure of tailings and mine waste disposal systems (tailings storage facilities and dumps for waste rock and overburden)
