4th Geotechnical Workshop | Hermosillo, Mexico

Learn of the uncertainties and probability of failure when assessing geotechnical risks
Friday, September 8, 2017
8:00 a.m — 7:30 p.m.
Where: Hotel Fiesta Americana, Salón Fiesta Palace | Hermosillo, Mexico
SRK Consulting in conjunction with Ground Probe and Maccaferri are preparing their 4th geotechnical workshop focused on geotechnical risk assessment and control. This workshop’s main objective is to discuss several concepts such as; uncertainties, probability of failure, validity of the factor of safety as acceptance criteria, risk assessment and a review of the latest technology for controlling risks. The work shop has been divided in three modules; theory and practical exercises, reviewing real cases and a presentation of the latest technology available in the world for controlling risk.
SRK Consulting, Ground Probe, and Maccaferri invite you to attend to this workshop at no cost as a part of their ongoing commitment to the mining industry. More than 40 engineers from 11 mining companies have already registered to participate in this 4th geotechnical workshop.

  • Mining executives in general
  • Project managers and mining operations in both underground and open-pit
  • Mining engineers, mine geologists and geotechnical engineers
