Stephen Taylor is a Principal Mining Engineer with SRK’s Underground Mining group and is based out of the Sudbury office. Steve graduated from Laurentian University with a B.Eng in Mining Engineering in 1992 and went on to complete a Master’s of Science degree in Mining Engineering at the University of Nevada-Reno, Mackay School of Mines in 1995. Steve then spent 11 years working in various Canadian gold mines, taking on many Engineering and operations roles including U/G miner, foreman and every Engineering position at site up to Chief Engineer.  In 2006, Steve joined Inco Ltd (now Vale S.A.) as a Senior Project Engineer, acting as a Project Manager/Construction Manager for a variety of Infrastructure projects with values of up to $50M.  Since joining SRK (Canada) Inc in 2010, Steve has lead and participated in numerous multi-disciplinary teams in order to complete everything from independent NI 43-101 Technical reports up to FEL 3 Feasibility Studies.  Other projects include due diligence projects, 3rd party site inspections, operational & engineering assistance.
