International Technical Reporting

Expedite the review of your technical reports though rigorous adherence to local and international reporting standards

Securities regulators worldwide require public companies investing in mineral projects to disclose specific technical information. The mineral industries of many countries have developed guidelines to increase the relevance, accuracy, and transparency of the information disclosed within their jurisdictions.

To improve reporting consistency at a global level, the Committee for Mineral Reserves International Reporting Standards (CRIRSCO) is developing an international reporting template. This template encompasses—but does not override—the reporting standards of CRISCO’s members, the national mineral reserve reporting organizations of Australia, Canada, the USA, Chile, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Western Europe.

Under many of the members’ jurisdictions, SRK consultants are designated as Qualified Persons (QPs). Our understanding of different countries’ regulatory requirements enables us to add value to our clients’ mineral projects by preparing independent technical reports that meet local standards and can therefore be expeditiously reviewed.

SRK is recognized as a leading global technical reporting consultancy. In terms of RSC Mining and Mineral Exploration’s worldwide tracking of technical reports, between January 2013 and October 2014 our consultants certified almost twice as many reports as our nearest rival.
