Brooke Miller Clarkson

Brooke specializes in vein- and sediment-hosted gold and silver deposits, but she has also worked on copper, molybdenum, iron, and barite deposits. Since joining SRK in 2011, she has worked on diverse projects in resource estimation, environmental geochemistry, and site characterization related to mineral deposits. She builds geologic models with multi-disciplinary applications, to define material types in three dimensions. Diverse applications of her geologic models include hydrogeology, geochemistry, and geotechnical engineering - all of which are considered for mine development. Multi-disciplinary drillhole planning is a natural extension of the holistic geologic modeling approach. Other ways she adds value to mining projects include data quality assessment, statistical analysis, exploration and environmental geochemistry, and technical writing.

Prior to joining SRK, she worked for five years as a mine or exploration geologist at sites in the western United States. Her field geology experience includes drill core and chip logging, open pit and underground geologic mapping, and drilling program management.
