Liam MacNamara

Liam's work concerns the evaluation of process metallurgy and the design, construction, commissioning and operation of minerals processing and metallurgical process plants.

He has broad industry experience and spent 24 years working for an international equipment supply company involved in numerous international mining related projects in laboratory and pilot scale testing, development of projects from levels of feasibility through the process design and detailed engineering of mineral process plants from the production of Basic Engineering packages through to plant construction, commissioning and performance testing. While at SRK he has continued to be involved with metallurgical testing and plant design but has focussed more on process plant evaluation as part of technical reviews, audits and due diligence exercises.

Liam’s technical expertise includes coal processing, base metal concentrators, gold plants, potash and phosphate processing, thickened tailings disposal, mine backfill plant and water treatment. His experience has been gained in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.
