Lindsay Shand

Lindsay’s specialisations include water stewardship, land contamination, waste management, minimization, treatment and control, water quality assessment, environmental impact assessment, risk and liability assessments. Her experience focuses on contamination source identification and control, contamination remediation assessments and rehabilitation strategies, industrial and mining water and waste management, characterisation of waste, wastewater, surface and groundwater. Lindsay has also utilized her experience to provide water stewardship assessment by combining her knowledge and involvement in river and estuarine water quality monitoring and assessment, mine closure plans, environmental impact assessments of industrial and mining projects, environmental feasibility studies and reporting, environmental auditing, due diligence and liability assessments and project management projects. Lindsay has managed a broad range of projects in South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Swaziland, Nigeria and Ghana. Lindsay is a registered natural scientist and a Credentialed Speciality with the Alliance for Water Stewardship.
